Breda Noord/Mapping-Juni 2006

ontwikkel een kaart naar aanleiding van fysieke kenmerken die je in Breda Noord tegenkomt. Wat mij opviel waren het grote aantal schotels in de wijk, wat een gevolg is van de multiculturele bevolking. Aan de ene kant van mijn kaart laat ik zien waar de mensen vandaan komen. Ze blijven verbonden met hun land van herkomst door schotel-tv. Ik laat zien welke zenders uit welk deel van de wereld komen, en welke sateliet je nodig hebt voor zenders in je moedertaal.
Aan de andere kant zie je het aantal schotels per straat en de hoogte van plaatsing (in meters).

Create a map for Breda-north and use a physical characteristic of the neighbourhood. I chose the satelites which gives foreigners the possibility to stay in thouch with their native country. At one side, I show the tv-stations and satelites who reach Breda-north. On the other side I show the number of satelites and the height of placement by street.
